As well as filmmaking, I am an experienced curator, having programmed events and seasons for nearly 10 years. I have curated for the BFI, The London Short Film Festival, The Smalls Film Festival, Sheffield Doc / Fest, Everyman Cinemas and the Bechdel Test Fest.

As a curator Iā€™m particularly interested in contemporary British Cinema, with a keen focus on working-class stories and British subcultures. Most recently in September 2023, I curated Acting Hard, a season exploring depictions of working class masculinity from the Thatcher era to the present day. You can read more about the season here, and read selected coverage from The Face, and I-D.

Previously, for the London Short Film Festival, I curated a series of grime-themed short films featuring the work of artists such as Risky Roadz and Simon Wheatley. The same programme was then screened in Melbourne as part of a season on British films that I curated for the BFI, as part of their cultural partnership with Australia in 2022.

I am a huge champion of emerging British talent, and recently screened a retrospective of the films of Aneil Karia, as well as work by Charlotte Regan, Molly Manning Walker and Edem Kelman amongst others.

I have also collaborated on film events with live music elements, working with artists such as Amy Cutler, Kazim Rashid, Bafic and grime collective The Square.

I regularly host Q&As, and recent clients include BAFTA, BIFA, Picturehouse Cinemas and the BFI.
